Last year we asked the race participants to take part in a post-race survey.  We collected lots of valuable information that we are using to improve the 2010 race.  We also asked the runners to leave any comments about the 2008 - 09 race and here are a selection :

Lost in admiration - I do a lot of these, and this beats others (GNR, etc) into a cocked hat.

Excellent accurate course, ran pb so will be back next year, top event, well organised, good hub all at high school, well done.

Well done to all for organising an enjoyable and efficient event. Glasgow City Council could learn something about value for money and smooth organisation from your group when it comes to arranging facilities for their big races in the City. Using the school as a base is also an excellent idea, a warm place to change and wait for the start of the race, and my non-running partner appreciated the cafe being open for a hot drink and place to sit until I had finished my run. Well done too, to all the hard working WRVS and cadets who gave up their time to make the event run smoothly.

Huge improvement on previous years. Closing some of the roads made a big difference. Noticeably more organised this year. Very enjoyable race.

A very well run event with very friendly people from the volunteers to the people cheering along the course.2nd time I've run there & will be back again next year.

This was the first of the smaller (no. of runners) Half Marathons that I've done (previously ran Glasgow, Edinburgh and Great North Run) and thought it was excellent, very well organised, brilliant medal and T-shirt and very scenic route. Definitely recommend it and looking forward to next year! Though the slog up hill at the end was a surprise!
