After 25 successful years under the control of Clackmannanshire Council, the organisation of the Alloa Half Marathon has been transferred to Alloa and District Round Table.  The Round Table have been involved in the event since 2004 when the future of the race was in doubt.  We hope to continue the success of the previous races whilst bringing improvements to the event, such as the introduction of this years chip timing system.

An important part of Round Table is the work we do within the community, like our popular Santa tour at Xmas, food parcels to the elderly and Xmas presents to those children who might not receive a present otherwise.  Fund raising events such as the Half Marathon allow us to carry out this important role in the community.
